Location: Glasgow, Scotland (Remote or Office-Based, depending on location)
Salary: £40,000–£50,000
Contract Type: Full-time 40 hours per week
About the role
We’re looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to support our Online Doctor services. In this key role, you'll help drive our clinical governance initiatives, ensuring that safety, quality, and compliance are at the heart of everything we do.
What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based pharmaceutical care for patients using our online services.
- Offer expert clinical advice to prescribers, patients, and wider healthcare teams.
- Regularly review and optimise medication regimens for safety, efficacy, and suitability.
- Identify and manage medication-related risks and incidents, driving continuous improvement.
- Keep up to date with clinical guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and best practices in digital healthcare — and apply this knowledge to update clinical content and assessments.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and contribute to shaping best practice across the digital pharmacy sector.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy and GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
- Strong experience in a clinical pharmacy setting — online pharmacy experience is essential.
- Previous involvement in clinical governance, ideally within digital/online health.
- Confident working with digital tools and platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience developing clinical guidelines or standard operating procedures.
