About the role:
Simple Online Healthcare are looking for a Team Leader to join their busy Patient Care Team in Glasgow. The role involves leading and managing a high-performing operational or clinical-facing team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and accountability that ensures patients receive high-quality, compliant care. The role balances day-to-day delivery with longer-term improvement, using data, technology, and best practice to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and service quality across the function.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, engaged team
Create a positive, inclusive culture with clear performance and quality expectations
Ensure delivery of timely, accurate, and patient-centred support
Manage escalations and support effective service recovery
Oversee day-to-day operations, workflows, and resource planning
Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and service standards
Use technology, data, and insights to drive efficiency and performance
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced operational, clinical, or service environment.
• A confident people leader who balances performance management with coaching, engagement, and wellbeing.
• Strong understanding of quality, safety, and compliance within regulated environments.
• Experience working collaboratively with Technical Advisors, clinicians, or subject-matter experts on complex queries.
• Data-driven and organised, able to use performance insight to prioritise work and drive improvement.
• Comfortable using systems and technology (e.g. CRM, case management, analytics tools) to improve efficiency and service quality.
