Award winning and growing fast
We've had a big year. We also won the Fast Growth Business award at the inaugural Scottish Business of the Year awards. None of that happens without the right people, which is where you come in.
As a Pharmacist, you will be a key clinical safeguard for every order we supply. You will use your professional judgement to make sure patients receive the right medicines safely, while working closely with pharmacists, nurse prescribers, dietitians, GPs and operational teams to keep care moving.
What you'll be doing
You will clinically assess prescriptions, complete accuracy checks and make sure medicines are supplied safely, accurately and in line with legal and professional requirements.
You will conduct telephone and video consultations when needed, checking patient information such as weight or treatment details and communicating clearly and empathetically throughout.
You will work in line with GPhC standards, company SOPs, pharmacy law and current best practice.
You will collaborate with dispensers, packers and clinical teams to support efficient order fulfilment within agreed SLAs.
You will help improve daily workflows and dispatch times without compromising patient safety or accuracy.
You will identify and report near misses, clinical errors and discrepancies, contributing to a strong culture of learning and continuous improvement.
You will support dispensers in training by sharing your knowledge and providing practical guidance.
You will help prepare for audits and take part in internal and regulatory inspections.
You will act as the Responsible Pharmacist on rota days, with full support provided.
This is a 40 hour per week role, working 5 days over 7. The role is office based in Glasgow to start.
