Our products should make healthcare easier to access, simpler to navigate and more personal, and we're only going to get there if the right problems get picked in the first place. As a Lead Product Manager, you'll set the bar for how our Product team thinks, challenging weak problem statements and making sure we spend our time on what matters to patients and the business. You'll coach a talented group of PMs to make their own calls, and you'll get stuck into the messy problems with them when it counts.

What you'll be doing

Lead our Product Managers day to day, coaching them, giving honest feedback and asking the difficult questions that help them own their decisions.
Work with the CPTO to turn company strategy into clear problems, missions and outcomes that teams can act on.
Keep asking whether we're working on the right things: What problem are we solving? Does it matter enough? What evidence do we have? What are we choosing not to do? How will we know it worked?
Help shape how Product works at Simple, sharpening discovery, prioritisation, experimentation, planning and product reviews without adding process for its own sake.
Raise the bar on evidence. Customer insight, data and experiments should shape decisions from the start, and you'll be the one who says "I don't think we should build this" when it's the right call.
Bring Technology, Clinical, Operations, Growth, Data and the wider business together to get difficult decisions made, so they don't all end up with the CPTO.
Help define the shape of the Product team as Simple grows, identifying capability gaps and what great Product looks like here.

This isn't a project management role, and it isn't about collecting requirements. You'll ask why first, work out what really matters, and help teams take responsibility for solving it.

What we're looking for

Essential

A strong track record as a Product Manager, with meaningful customer and commercial problems behind you.
Experience helping other PMs get better, whether you're already leading a Product team or you're a Senior Product Manager ready to take that step.
The ability to turn a broad strategy into work a team can execute.
Comfort working closely with engineering. You're curious about technology and at ease with data, though you don't need to be an engineer or a data scientist.
Good judgement, healthy pragmatism and the confidence to challenge people, including senior people, when you think the wrong problem is being solved.

Desirable

Healthcare or regulated industry experience. We'd rather find great product instincts and help you learn our world, so this isn't essential.

Intro call, then skills and technical interview, then final interview.
